Instead of juggling spreadsheets, bookmarks, and emails, everything lives in one place.

What the Education Hub Is For

The Education Hub helps you:

  • Research and compare creative schools
  • Stay organised as you narrow down options
  • Track your progress with each school
  • Request trusted introductions when you’re ready

Whether you’re interested in game design, animation, VFX, concept art, or another creative discipline, this is your starting point.

How the Education Hub Works (At a High Level)

The process is simple:

  1. Save schools you’re interested in
  2. Track your status as you research and apply
  3. Connect with schools when you’re ready
  4. Stay organised with everything in one dashboard

Each step builds naturally on the last.

Step 1: Save Schools You’re Interested In

When browsing the School Directory or viewing a school profile, simply click "Add to List."

That school is added to your personal shortlist inside the Education Hub.

Your shortlist is your research workspace - there’s no limit, so save freely while exploring.

Step 2: Track Your Progress with Each School

For every saved school, you can track where you are in the process.

  • Researching - You’re still learning about the school
  • In Discussion - You’ve started a conversation
  • Applied - You’ve submitted an application
  • Accepted - You’ve been accepted
  • Rejected - It didn’t work out (and that’s okay)

Update a school’s status at any time using the dropdown next to it.
Changes save automatically.

This lets you see, at a glance, exactly where things stand.

Step 3: Connect Directly with Schools

When you’ve narrowed things down and want to move forward, click Connect Me.

This isn’t just sending an email.

What Happens When You Connect

  • We personally introduce you to the school’s admissions team
  • You skip generic inboxes and get priority attention
  • You’re automatically entered into exclusive Rookies scholarships
  • The school contacts you directly to continue the conversation

What Information Is Shared

Only what’s necessary:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your country
  • A link to your Rookies profile (for some schools)

Your information is only shared with schools you choose.
Nothing is ever sent without your explicit action.

Your Education Hub Dashboard

At the top of the Education Hub, you’ll see a live summary of your activity:

  • Saved Schools - total schools on your shortlist
  • In Discussion - schools you’re actively talking to
  • Requested Info - schools you’ve connected with

These stats update automatically as you use the system.

Connection History & Transparency

At the bottom of the page is your Connection History - a permanent log of every school you’ve connected with through The Rookies.

This exists for clarity and trust. You should always know:

  • Which schools were contacted
  • When your information was shared

If You Remove a School

  • It’s removed from your active shortlist
  • Your connection history remains for your records
  • Personal data is anonymised on our end for GDPR compliance

If you want a school to delete your data from their systems, you’ll need to contact them directly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I undo a connection?
You can’t unsend an introduction, but you can remove the school from your shortlist at any time.

How long until a school responds?
Most schools reply within a few days to a week. If you haven’t heard back after two weeks, a direct follow-up via their website is reasonable.

Do I need a portfolio before connecting?
Not always. Some schools receive a link to your Rookies profile depending on their partnership level. Even a small amount of work can help show motivation, but it isn’t required for most schools.
