Who Can Enter?

The Rookie Awards are open to aspiring artists who are ready to make their mark in the creative industries. We’re looking for the best new talent—individuals who are either about to enter the industry or in their first year of professional work.

This includes current students, recent graduates, self-taught artists, and hobbyists who are passionate about their craft and eager to gain recognition. If you’re ready to showcase your skills and step into the spotlight as a new star in your field, this is your opportunity!

Eligibility Criteria

• Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
• Professional Experience: You should have less than a year of paid work in any of the creative fields featured in the contest.
• Related Experience: If you have up to three years of experience in a related field, you might still be eligible. We’ll consider this on a case-by-case basis to make sure it’s fair for everyone.
• Who Can Join: Open to current students, recent grads, self-taught artists and even hobbyists.

Important!

• Individual Artists Only: Each entry must be submitted by an individual.
• Schools and Educators: Schools or educators are not allowed to submit entries on behalf of students, or in the name of their facility.
• Team Entries: Team entries are allowed, but they cannot be submitted by team accounts. Each team must nominate an individual team member that will create the entry and invite other members as collaborators.
