Individual vs Team Entries
When it comes to the Rookie Awards, it's important to know the submission rules for individuals and teams. Here’s what you need to understand:
Individual Entries
Eligible Categories
Individuals can enter all categories: Rookie of the Year, Career Opportunities, Film of the Year, and Game of the Year.
Including Team Work
If your work was part of a team project, you can include it in your entry. However, it's important to follow these guidelines:
- Focus on Your Contributions
Clearly explain your specific contributions to the project. This helps judges understand your individual skills and what you bring to the table. - Don’t Submit the Team Project
Avoid submitting the entire team project as your individual entry. Doing so will likely lead to a low score. Judges want to see what you accomplished individually, not just the collective effort.
Team Entries
Eligible Categories
Teams can only enter the Film of the Year or Game of the Year.
No Team Accounts
Each team must designate a single member to create the entry. This ensures only one submission per project, preventing duplicate entries from multiple team members.
Adding Collaborators
When submitting your team project, you can easily invite collaborators. During the submission process, there’s an option to add team members:
- Type the name of the person you want to add.
- If they are a member, their name will appear for selection.
- If they are not a member, you can add their name as plain text, but this will not connect them to your entry.
