Q: What is the purpose of the Rookie Awards?
A: The Rookie Awards is an annual global competition designed to showcase and support emerging talent in creative industries such as games, animation, visual effects, immersive media, and more. As a sponsor, you play a key role in enabling this platform for aspiring creatives.

Q: Can I sponsor more than one contest or category?
A: Yes! If you’re interested in expanding your sponsorship, please get in touch with us to discuss additional opportunities.


Sponsorship Deliverables

Q: What are my obligations as a sponsor?
A: Your obligations depend on whether you’re a Prize Sponsor or Studio Sponsor. Please refer to the Prize Sponsors and Studio Sponsors pages for detailed information about your specific responsibilities.

Q: What do I need to do to provide banner advertising?
A: If your sponsorship package includes banner advertising, submit your assets and tracking URLs via this online form. Ensure your banners meet the provided specifications.

Q: How do I provide prizes to winners?
A: Once winners are announced, you’ll receive detailed instructions on prize fulfilment, including contact information for the winners and timelines for delivery.

Q: What if I need help writing a blog post or social media content?
A: Our team is happy to assist! Contact us for guidance or use the content available in the Brand Guide, which includes logos, banners, and templates.


Judging and Selection

Q: What is the judging process for my sponsored category?
A: The judging process involves two stages:

  1. Lead Judges shortlist entries from all submissions.
  2. Finalist Judges, often nominated by sponsors, review the shortlisted entries and rank their Top 5 choices.

Q: Do I need to nominate a judge?
A: Nominating a judge is optional for Prize Sponsors but mandatory for Studio Sponsors. Judges must be senior-level professionals who can represent your company effectively.

Q: How do I nominate a judge?
A: Complete this online form with the judge’s details, including email address, profile picture, and a short bio.


Metrics and Reporting

Q: How can I track the impact of my sponsorship?
A: Sponsors with eligible packages gain access to Looker Studio Reports, offering live data on entries, engagement metrics, and other valuable insights. Contact us if you need help accessing your dashboard.

Q: Can I request competitor analysis?
A: Yes! Sponsors can submit a list of competitors to receive tailored insights on how entrants are using your products compared to others in the industry.


Communication and Support

Q: How do I stay updated throughout the contest?
A: Join our Discord server for real-time updates, announcements, and support. You can also reach out to us via email.

Q: What should I do if I experience issues with my sponsorship deliverables?
A: Contact us immediately, and we’ll assist you in resolving any issues as quickly as possible.


Promoting Your Sponsorship

Q: How do I share my involvement with the contest?
A: You will be provided social media sponsor images to share online If sharing your own contest, be sure to tag us and use the official hashtag (#RookieAwards2025) for maximum visibility.

Q: Can I use contest-related images or content for my promotions?
A: Yes, but ensure you follow the guidelines in our Branding Guidelines page to maintain consistency and comply with copyright policies. Please also make sure to tag artists using their official profile page on The Rookies.
