What is a project?

A project is a page that contains your own personal work. The page can contain everything from images, videos, 3d viewers, code, text and more.

These projects appear on the main projects page: https://www.therookies.co/projects. They will also appear on your own profile page for you to share with other members and the public too.

A project can be as simple as a sketch you did and took a photo of.
A project could be a simple 3D scene you're playing with.
A project could be an animation or complete short film or game.
A project can be a series of updates showing what you are working on.

Go check out the link above and see what other members are creating.

What is an entry?

An entry is a page that contains your own personal work, but this page is specifically submitted to a contest. The Rookies hosts many contests over the year. Some big, others small.

When you create an entry to a contest, it will appear on your profile under the Entries tab. https://www.therookies.co/ [your username] /entries

You can see the latest contests here: https://www.therookies.co/contests/groups

You can see the latest contest entries here: https://www.therookies.co/contests

To create an entry:

- find a contest you'd like to enter
- read the contest description and select a category that interests you
- located on the contest pages will be a Create Entry button

The process of creating an entry has a few more steps than simply creating a project. There is other documentation that can help you will these steps, or as always, just use the live-chat located bottom right of every page to talk to one of our team members.
